Noi Calhoun
Office Manager
Noi Calhoun started working for JAG in 2007, and transitioned into the Office Manager position in 2014, serving as executive secretary, overseeing office staff, and handling the day to day surprises. She also handles the massive amount of paperwork involved: accounts payable and receivable, change orders, following insurance protocol, and payroll for the staff. She is a Notary Public in the county of Buncombe, North Carolina. She is highly committed to easing the client’s side of the process by providing excellent customer service, combined with easy to understand billing. She has been a part of the growth of this company from the beginning and is proud to be a member of our JAG team.

Noi moved to Asheville in 2006 from a tiny mountain town in Colorado, where she had previously been in the banking industry. She spends most of her spare time baking, picking up after her husband and two kids, and waterfall hunting.
Tim Nylander
Project Manager
I was raised by leaders in the historic preservation and American decorative arts fields. I grew up in the attics, basements, barns and ballrooms of some of the most architecturally significant homes in New England. After graduating college and touring the world with a variety of bands, the economic reality of being a musician settled in and in a moment of clarity I realized that I had wanted to be an architect when I was a kid. Having no money for school I embarked on a career in carpentry. It combined my love of design and knowledge of the Boston area’s buildings, old and new, in a hands on and creative environment. After 17 years of working in some of Boston’s most amazing neighborhoods and buildings, I realized the need for a change. My wife and I moved to Western North Carolina (which was our escape plan all along). I was fortunate to find a soft landing building beautiful green homes and continuing with my passion for architecture and building in a new environment.
John Humbert
Renovations Division Manager

In 2009 John moved to the Lake Norman area in NC where he continued honing his renovation & remodeling skills. While always looking to improve and incorporate green and sustainable practices, John began his new journey with JAG Construction in 2015. John spends most of his free time with his beautiful family of four; any other time, you will find him on a lake or river fishing.
