A Thoughtful Full Interior Historic Renovation in Biltmore Forest

Nestled in the Biltmore Forest neighborhood of South Asheville, this 4,274-square-foot home, originally built in 1943, received a thoughtful full interior renovation that honored its historic charm while bringing it into the modern era. Our scope of work included an expanded primary bathroom and kitchen, new windows, a complete house-wide rewire and replumbing, and energy-efficiency upgrades including a sealed crawlspace and spray-foamed roof deck/attic. Designed by Peter Tart Architect, the project balanced modernization with preservation: most notably, the original 1943 jack-and-jill bathroom was kept entirely intact at the clients’ request. The result is a lovingly transformed living time capsule that feels both fresh and timeless.
